NBA media days set the stage for 2026–27 training camps

Dallas goes next before the league-wide media-day wave

The NBA’s preparations for the 2026–27 season are moving from offseason work into media days and training camps, with Dallas scheduled to meet reporters on Friday, September 25.

The Mavericks’ session is listed for 11 a.m. Eastern time, or 11 p.m. in the Philippines that evening. Houston held its media day on September 22. The remaining 28 teams are scheduled for Monday, September 28, on their local calendars.

Houston and Dallas are working to an earlier timetable ahead of the NBA China Games. They are scheduled to meet in Macao on October 9 and 11.

For supporters following from the Philippines, individual session times matter: some U.S. daytime events fall after midnight in Manila. A media-day listing also does not automatically identify the date of a team’s first practice.

Camp and preseason will provide the next confirmed updates on player availability and roster roles. Team announcements should be checked for any changes to the published schedule.
